Tickets for Roundabout Theatre Company’s world premiere production of Meghan Kennedy’s Too Much, Too Much, Too Many are now available. The play, which stars Phyllis Somerville, Rebecca Henderson, James Rebhorn and Luke Kirby, is scheduled to begin previews on October 25 at the Black Box Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. Sheryl Kaller directs this Roundabout Underground production, which is set to open on November 20 and run through January 5, 2014.
Too Much, Too Much, Too Many tells the story of Rose (Somerville), who, after the death of her husband, locks herself in her bedroom for the better part of a year, leaving her daughter Emma (Henderson) to take care of her through the closed door. When the church sends a pastor to try to coax Rose out of her room, he finds out that Rose isn’t the only person in the house using barriers to hide her true feelings.
The off-Broadway production of Too Much, Too Much, Too Many will feature set design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting design by Zach Blane and original music and sound by Broken Chord.
